The Prince George’s County Council, pursuant to the authority under Section 18-122 of the Prince George’s County Code created the Private Security Camera Incentive Program. This rulemaking establishes a rebate program for the installation of security camera systems on a property owned or leased by a resident, non-profit organization, or business and requires registration of the security camera systems with the Prince George’s County Police Department.
The program includes three (3) priority areas, identified by the Prince George’s County Police Department based on data of violent crime. Prior to completing this application, find out if your location is eligible:

Please note cameras and/or subscriptions purchased before July 1, 2023, are not eligible for rebate. This application will take 45-90 days to review and determine eligibility. If you have any questions, please email OCROutreach@co.pg.md.us.
